Vinísfera ¿?

Vinísfera is a project starting in January 2008 with the concern of two friends to improve the information available around the world of wine. The name, according to us, responds a little to: Vinis obviously has to do with wine, and sfera with the world.

We set out with this project it again in the sometimes stiff structure of this world, and bring it closer to the young consumer. We set out to break with the traditional customs rooted in society that make the wine as a drink a few. We believed then that if we could bring to producers, marketers, communicators and consumers in a common territory-Vinísfera, then the interaction would be much more prosperous and reliable, so that young people like us who are learning, not penalty gave us enter this world.

To this end, our initial project was Vinísfera Magazine, whose first issue was published in March 2008 and which by way of a first overview of the Mexican wine, write about Aguascalientes and Zacatecas. Almost two years in which our focus was on providing information useful, relevant and current as antisolemnte (but not chacotera), we decided to stop printing the magazine. The decision was motivated by one of our initial goals: to reach out to more people with quality information, a goal not easy to comply with a print magazine because of the economic and environmental costs involved, which in turn sharply limited the scope of thereof.

Thus, with the conviction to make an even more plural, inclusive and participatory, decided to start 2010 with Vinísfera.com. Our portal, and new umbrella project is an information center focused on all people who want to learn more about the wine, without distinction of sex, socioeconomic status or geographic location. Here, through written, audio and video, we intend to convey a simple and straightforward message to anyone who wants to receive: Wine is for sharing.

So if you're new or old in this wine, never mind, we invite you to browse our sections, share and comment on these items by your preferred means of interaction and to make your default Vinísfera.com on these issues, if you need information on something specific contact us and we will fix it or find someone who knows.
